Due to high winds on Sunday, Eliminations were canceled. Only 2 rounds of qualifying were held. Also the qualifying sheets blew away so only ET was recorded

1st Round:

Ray get the advantage on the starting line and never looks back taking an easy win. Howard forgets to arm the Nitrous system and is dead int he water
Kelly Harvey (7.590 @ 175.99) def Cecil Hankins (7.861 @171.76 MPH)
The normally aspirated gets a huge advantage .017 vs .123 but can't hold off the blower of Harvey.
Art Cordova (7.649 @186.33) def Rafael De La Rosa (7.823 @ 168.54 MPH)
Old Corvette vs New Corvette: De La Rosa runs his best time of the weekend but its not enough to out run the Ben's Automotive Corvette.
Sammy Gonzales (8.013 @ 167.84) def Robert Costa (No Time)
The Number 8 qualifier gets the best of the #1. Sammy making a straight pass down the track while Costa has trouble, gets crossed up, crosses the center line and hits the wall. Car is a little banged up but the driver is OK.
2nd Round:
Sammy Gonzales (7.981 @172.96) def Ray Trujillo (7.987 @ 133.45 MPH)
Ray has trouble at 1000 ft and the motor shuts off. The #8 qualifier is in the finals
Kelly Harvey (7.476 @ 186.59) def Art Cordova (7.510 @182.45 MPH)
The Blown car from Colorado beats the Corvette in another upset as Art has to peddle it several times. Blown vs Nitrous in the FINALS.
FINAL Round:
Sammy Gonzales (8.416 @ 168.47 def Kelly Harvey (No Time)
Both cars have trouble on the starting line. Sammy spins the tires but gets back in it. Harvey breaks the throttle linkage and the motor goes quiet. The #8 qualifier wins it all and the 2010 points champ is back in 1st place.
Gamblers Final Round:
Doyle Story 8.404 @165.12 def Charlotte Schmidt 15.059 @ 74.72 mph
Story gets the easy win as the blown car blows away the tires.

Ray losing traction on the starting line, Sammy runs his best time ever by a bunch for the win. Good job to that team.
Art Cordova (7.79 @ 184) def Robert Howard (7.85 @ MPH)
Howard gets a big starting line advantage but Art comes around him at the finish line to take the victory by .003 of a second.
Cecil Hankins (7.70 @ 179) def Dwayne James (BROKE @ )
The pro charger car breaks the flexplate bolts on the burnout. Cecil doesn't take it easy, he runs his best time ever. Great run for the normally aspirated motor.
Robert Costa(8.10 @ 132) def Rafael Dela Rosa ( )
The number #1 qualifier gets lucky as he has to lift down track. Dela Rosa did a 3 ft wheel stand on the line and was out of the race before it started.
2nd Round:
Art Cordova (7.46 @190.40) def Cecil Hankins ( @ MPH)
The normally Aspirated motor motor is no match for the nitrous of the Ben's Corvette. Art is off to the finals.
Robert Costa (6.93 @ 195.06) def Sammy Gonzales ( @ MPH)
Sammy gets a huge starting line advantage, but it is not enough to hold off the Willy's. Looks like it is the Willy's vs Corvette in the finals
FINAL Round:
Robert Costa (6.93 @ 197) def Art Cordova ( )
Art has trouble on the starting line but Costa makes another 6.93 back to back to win the race. Congrats to the Costa Racing Team.
Gamblers Final Round:

The turbo car runs its best time ever. Congrats to the Chambers crew

The Corvette from Mexico gets the starting line advantage and never looks backs. Also runs a career best time in the process. The Chambers still working out the bugs in the turbo car.

Charlotte runs a career best but can not out run the new Camaro of Satterfield.
Kelly Harvey (7.417 @ 188) def Ray Trujillo (No Time)
Harvey and his Willy's runs another career best in a competition bye as Trujillo broke during qualifying.
Art Cordova (7.20 @ 195.) def Shawn Jones (No Time)
Jones can not get the new Corvette started so Cordova marches on with a competition bye.

The #1 qualifier gets the bye run do to the ladder. Runs low ET of the round.
2nd Round:

Satterfield stumbles on the starting line. The Corvette of Dela Rosa is on to the Semi's

Harvery wins the battle of the two Colorado cars. Harvey off to his 2nd semi of the year

Sammy gets the jump on the line but cant hold off the Willy's.

Cordova gets the bye for being the #2 qualifier. He is off to the semi's after running a career best

3rd Round:(Semis's)

Both cars have trouble but Cordova gets a better handle on it. Cordova off to his 2nd consecutive final
Robert Costa (7.03 @ 200) def Rafael Dela Rosa ( 7.955 @ 159 MPH)
Almost identical off the starting line, the big 200 mph charge is too much for Dela Rosa. Costa off to meet Cordova for the 2nd time in the finals
FIANL Round:
Robert Costa (7.01 @201) def Art Cordova (7.64 @ 144 MPH)
The way the Championship battle is supposed to be. #1 and #2 in the points are in the final. The winner is the champ. Costa gets off the line first and never looks back. Cordova has problems and has to click it off early. Costa is the 2011 RODS Champion.
