Very close on the reaction time. Both Drivers have trouble but Monte gets the win and off to the finals

In a strange burn out, Robert doesn't stop and motors down the track. Art gets the competition bye and it s an ALL 63 Corvette final Round

Art gets the advantage off the starting line and wins the pedal fest. Both drivers in and out of the throttle. Congrats to Art on his 1st RODS victory

Gordy gets the advatage on the starting line and never looks back.

Charlotte having traction problems and nearly misses the left wall. Sherbring on to the semis

Doyle making his best run of the weekend is no make for louie who has troubles

Sammy breaking on the starting line gives the win to Ray. #1 qualifier is on to the next round

Doyle runs another 7.70 pass and is on tot he finals

Ray Trujillo (7.873 @ 173) def Gordy King ( 7.973 @ 168 MPH)
Gordy runs his first 7 of the weeknd but is no match for the blown car. 2 blowers in the finals

Doyle Story (7.771 @ 176) def Ray Trujillo ( 8.887 @ 112 MPH)
Very close off the line, but Ray breaks a wheelie bar dragging it down the track, then blows the burst panels. Doyle runs his 3rd 7.7 pass in a row for the win. Congrats to Doyle on his win.

Semi Finals

Both cars make clean passes. Cordova was first off the line but Costa makes in up in the first 60’ and never looks back for the win.

Jim Costa 7.118@194.25 def Screwie Louie 9.363@103.24

Both cars have trouble and peddle, Costa get in under control first and takes the win. He will face his brother in the finals, the younger Costa brother gets lane choice over big brother.

Finals

Big brother gets the win. A flawless pass and his quickest in Albuquerque and for the weekend. The younger shakes the tires early and shuts it off. Congrats to Jim on his win.

Story makes another effortless 7.70 pass. He was first off the line and never looked back.

Hinkley makes his RODS debut this weekend and get a competition bye for his first elimination round. He will face Story in the semis.

Nova vs Nova. Blown vs Nitrous. Sanchez gets a big starting line advantage but it is not enough as the blower power passes him by 330’. Another blower on to the semis

Very close off the line, King never looks back and now it both pairs in the semis will be a blower vs nitrous.

Brian leaves before the tree comes down. Story makes steps it up from the first round and heads to another final

Ray first off the line and never looks back. On to another final. Gordy slows on the big end with a puff of smoke. Blower vs blower in the finals

Jim makes his best pass of the weekend going straight down the center of the lane. Charlotte was unable to start.

FINAL Round:

Both drovers left close together but Jim saves his best ET and speed for the finals. Going straight down the lane for the 3rd consecutive pass.

Brian gets the win during a rerun. The first time the tree malfunctioned the first time. Brian runs a career best and moves on the 2nd round

Gordy running a career best as well gets off the line first and never looks back. He will meet Brian in the semis.
